PSG-Dortmund Champions League match to be closed to public over coronavirus

Gayanulis.xyz - Wednesday's match is the second straight for PSG to be impacted by coronavirus after their match against French-club Strasbourg was postponed Saturday.

It is also the second overall Champions league round-of-16 match to be played behind closed doors because of the virus; Valencia's match in Spain against Italy's Atalanta will also be played in this manner.

Coronavirus, which is known as COVID-19, is a viral strain first detected in the Wuhan province of China on Dec. 31, 2019.

In the weeks since, it has infected over 110,000 people in more than 80 countries, according to the Johns Hopkins University Center for Systems Science and Engineering.

Symptoms can range from mild to severe, though some don't have any symptoms, and most resemble the flu, including fever, tiredness, dry cough and aches and pains.

As of Monday, France has 1,209 confirmed cases of coronavirus and a total 19 deaths. The worldwide death total was 3,892 as of Monday morning.
